Lash Length & Volume Guide
Length and volume do different jobs. Length changes how far the lashes extend; volume changes how full the lash line appears. Looking at them separately makes choosing much simpler.
What length changes
Shorter-looking lengths keep the finish subtle and close to the natural lash line. More length creates a more noticeable direction and can make the eye look more elongated or open depending on placement.
What volume changes
Less volume creates softness and breathing room. More volume creates density and a stronger makeup effect. Neither is better—the right amount depends on the look you want that day.
Choose one priority first
If you want an everyday finish, keep volume soft and let the shape do the work. If you want a more expressive finish, add fullness gradually while keeping the overall direction balanced.
The most useful rule
Choose the amount that looks intentional from a normal conversation distance. A good lash look should still feel like you.
